Decide to WALK, it promotes WELLNESS. Period.

I’ve been huge a fan of travelling, specially if it involves “walking, trekking, hiking or marching”. Early on in life, walking has been one of the corner stone in my life. Coz’ nearly all the locations we settled or lived back then as a child, It’d always required walking, like going to the nearest store (which is literally far, it just fells like near coz’ we’re used to it), playing basketball in the court, going to school and the fact that our neighborhoods have such distance if in case catching with things would came into play.

So entering the world of outdoor activities such as trekking, hiking and the likes, have never been a strange thing to me. For others, it exhausts them, get them tired, get them sweaty and sores their legs. But at the end of the day, it’s also a fact that one can overcome temporary inconveniences and triumphs the challenges can make all the difference at the finish line.

Most of the time, most of the people would always dwell on the physical aspect of the challenge it entails like if the body’s aching and all but it’s just half the battle. It’s “COURAGE” really that would take you all throughout the hurdles coz’ when you’re body’s exhausted, it’s your spirit that would carry on for the fight. This kind of sensation, sort of adrenaline rush, is something that’s making me turn on about the challenge. And I think, this is so true in every walks of life, in relationship, family, career, work and anything in between.

One more interesting thing that’s intertwined to health is technology. “They’d say!”, They’d have this erroneous notion that, “Technology makes us more sedentary, sit longer than ever and it doesn’t promote wellness.“

I tend to disagree with the above statement about the relationship of health & technology, just because it tends to get our lives easier than ever, doesn’t mean it gets us stuck as a couch potato or bone idle. In fact, Apple Watch monitors our heart rate, even iPhone monitors our daily steps, same as hours of sleep, eating habits and so much more. I’d rather put it into a state like, “It takes accountability, commitment to make technology part of our health or wellness. So don’t put onto the situation, things around you or people around you as why you can’t improve one’s health or wellness.”
